Subject: RE: Corn Market popping

Boone Co. Iowa

Got into my first corn field yesterday. Looking at 210 average after 245 and 250 past 2 years.

Local ethanol plant going to have to bid pretty hard after harvest is over.

How far north did the southern rust make it? Because rust / fungicide is major factor in corn yields here.

Going along west fence line, I have a neighbor on north side and neighbor on south side.

Neighbor on north side obviously used a fungicide.

And neighbor on south side got the benefit of my fungicide pass on his outside 3 rows. The rest of the corn looks awful. Be surprised if it makes 175.
