How is it welfare? Isn't this payment for damages done by the policy of the united states government? Isn't that even what the administration is saying? Isn't it going to be funded by the income from that exact policy? So again how is this round welfare? All the other money is a different story


Somebody has got to explain this trade damage to me. I could have sold July beans at St. Louis today for $10.89.


2023 soybean carryout data
Final carryout (ending stocks) for the 2023–2024 U.S. marketing year was 280 million bushels, a 6% increase from the previous year.

According to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the soybean harvest price in 2023 was $12.84 per bushel, down 7% from the projected price earlier in the year. The year-end cash price was slightly lower, at $12.94 per bushel.

Current carryout is 290 million. Listen boys, there is a reason the government is floating $100 an acre or $2 a bushel. They know how hard they are screwing you. Unfortunately, from the sounds of this thread, most of you dont know how far your being bent over.
