| I can`t argue with that, however if ag bankers are saying 30% of their customers will go broke without cash infusion, perhaps we should avoid a crash that would have ripple effects to ag retailers. I remember during the 1980s broke farmers crashed banks, feed stores... that`s why some small towns still have the boarded up buildings. I was and am against how the cocky farmers were bailed out during the 80`s and it`s a shame some of the small ag retailers didn`t get equal treatment. the cocky clown that got a $800,000 bailout in 1980`s dollars could`ve took that windfall and bought 800 acres at the going rate of $1,000/acre. but they strut down the street with their nose in the air like they pulled themselves up by their boot straps. they just dug their hole deeper than anyone else, is why they got the bailout. | |
