Fontanelle, IA | Kind of along those same lines as the cattle feeding thread (but in reverse). Beet companies have massive piles of beets. 1 inch of rain is probably 8-10 inches of snow up there. Beans would take in rain super fast down here vs up there the ground piles wouldn’t take in snow moisture until it actually thawed.
Just me, but I think ground piles are ruined by rain vs snow here but I’m just going by “here” | |
