Have the government; Buy John Deere and CNH and give it to the farmers.  Bring back large research into developing public crop varieties. Pay for the research to develop male pigweed that have only male offspring.  Open phosphate mines and give the company that operates them to farmers.  Build NH3 plants and give them to farmers.  

It cost around $2800/ton of annual production to build an NH3 plant.  If the talked about $100/acre for soybeans were put into building NH3 plants we would likely have N to export. 

That should reduce our imput costs, and then we would have less need for more government help.
