I'd rather see us crush more beans in the US and export higher value products. I cannot understand why the focus isn't on processing our own raw materials and exporting finished products such as meats. We import (expensive)fertilizer then export it in the raw commodities. Grow the proteins here in the US and we will also retain most of the fert in the valuable manure.
