$100 per acre makes me want to plant more beans next year. How does this not create more problems?
What a joke.
Subsidizing soybeans does not change behavior. If we are going to send money to farmers let’s do something different than corn, beans, wheat and cotton. We have plenty of those commodities.
Pasture pork, free range chickens/turkeys. Canned vegetables.
Sadly, the free range chicken lobby is woefully inadequate to garner govt gravy. |
