Why wouldnt the price go down? You bail out a farmer from going out of business more soybeans are produced and they are worth less.

Now my logic says that. But you never know how it all will go down. Take pecans for example. Trumps first term pecan tariff going to china went from 7% to over 70%. No goverment cheese for pecan farmers at all. And alot of farmers have gone out of business. We produce less pecans today than we did back then. Yet prices are the lowest they have ever been. So what changed?

We import a ton of pecans from Mexico tariff free. Thats what happend in this case. The USA will never be able to produce somthing as cheap as most other agriculture countries. This is something everyone needs to realize and understand.

We need to forget the concept of selling excess crop to other countries. Grow what we need or grow something else. We need to stop importing crops we can grow here. Its that simple. The whole point of subsiding crops is to insure security in our crop resources weather it be natural disaster or foreign policy.

If crops enter the USA and get to take advantage of our great economy they have to be taxed at a minimum to what makes their cost of growing equal or more than our cost of growing.
