Forget it never going to happen. There’s more behind subsidy payments then just a farmer getting paid. Our lawmakers want food security. Grocery stores need to stay full. Bankers want paid back. Machinery dealers and manufacturers want to sell high price machinery and parts. Stock holders want to see the value of their stock go higher and want dividends. Way more involved than a farmer getting a subsidy check.


^^^^^ Food security^^^^^ Full belly’s things are good….Hungry people get agitated easily and the gov knows this….

If the trucking industry so much as hiccups (Covid, Hurricanes) the grocery store selves are cleaned out in a day, if American ag has a few hiccups in a row it wouldn’t be good. In the government’s eyes food surplus is a good thing…
