I agree with you, it's time to end ALL the subsidies for EVERYONE. But like papa said earlier, there are too many hands in the cookie jar - the very reason it needs to end and also why it won't.
I wasn't around for the 80s, but I sure do get tired of farmers in my area complaining about people getting government handouts and then griping about not having a new farm bill.
