NC Kansas | My brother has a Weber. He likes to let it burn after taking the food off to "cook off". Well it caught fire! Don't want one like that. We liked our Holland because it had a drip pan and they claimed it wouldn't flare up either. I've had the drip pan on fire twice. But the same drip pan that makes it "flare proof", also keeps the meat from tasting "grilled".
The one fire I had on the drip pan was from bacon and sausage when we were having a pancake and sausage feed for our First Responder group. Well, glad we were at the firehouse, lol. As Eddie Murphy once said in one of his shows, "Now that's a fire!" | |
