And I’ll even give you the best case scenario, which is that guns will be enough to protect what you consider your property, because there hasn’t been nuclear or biological war. What’s your plan? Hole up in your house with a rifle, food, and your gold? It’s not going to be enough. Sure the first few weeks of a true infrastructure failure, anarchy event are going to be defending what you’ve got against desperate ignorant poorly armed people. They’ll be weeded out quickly and what you’ll be left with are armed mobs who probably have rifles, infrared scopes, large numbers, and a burning desire to come get that wealth you’ve socked away. No, all of us need to work to salvage what’s left of our current government. The alternative is a reality very few good people would survive long. | |
