I hear those stories..........and then I watched the videos on the news. Lines and parades of thousands of people walking north........many of them overweight, all dressed nicely, and most all had phones in hand. I guess I don't really get it.
Ive only been to the Caribbean.. Jamaica and the DR.. NOTHING like Haiti.. Venezuela.. El Salvador.. yes they have phones.. and clothes.. etc.. “banks” are where you go to buy lottery tickets.. their currency constantly falls vs the major powers.. they don’t really have winters.. but they have hurricanes.
at Jamaica.. a couple of us farmers standing around before our obligatory tax write off meeting.. yes.. it’s cheaper to Fly everyone there.. hold a meeting at a 5 star resort.. fly them home.. then to do THE SAME THING in Nashville Tenn. literally CHEAPER and Jamaica has a beach.

at the Dominican Republic.. they do not have Medicare.. you work.. or.. you die.
If you can work.. peddle you’re ware’s to Tourists.. grow coffee or tobacco.. or sugar cane for rum.. or make Cocaine.. is it any wonder why this situation has developed.. they HAVE NO OPPORTUNITY.
USAID.. US Export Council where my father went to Cuba.. here.. buy US soy meal.. raise pigs.. grow food.. and for gosh darn.. put it in a fridge.. don’t just hang the carcass off the front porch.. okay.. so you need a better power plant.. utilities.. sewer.. etc.. roads.. We can only do so much.. but stop supporting the drug trade.. which is incredibly profitable.. which if you survive.. is better than what ya got..

Trump isn’t FIXING ANYTHING by sending them back to die. That solves nothing. At this rate we’re headed for more terrorist.. more drugs.. more inequality.. which leads to wars.
