Subject: JD ops center VS granular yield analysis

eastern Kansas
We shelled a field of corn split planted to two varieties saturday. Went into ops center to see which one yielded better. I played around with making several "lassos" or comparisons in the field and variety "A" seemed to always be even to 5 bushel better no matter where I looked. Felt pretty good about my data but trying to find a report I liked better to print it out I decided to go into granular and do the same analysis there to maybe find a better looking report, since my data is supposed to flow through JD to granular anyway. Low and behold the answers were the exact opposite. on granular variety "B" consistently won, from even to sometimes 10 bushel better, no matter how hard I "tried" to get it exact areas to ops center or to even manipulate it. Comparing the planting maps the varities are not flipped in the applications. Also comparing whole field analysis is useless here because between trees and wildlife it is a guarantee on whole field levels the variety planted on the outside 8 rows will lose field wide. On Ops center the new variety was winning, on granualar the older standby would win, if anyone is thinking that. Anyone seen this before and have advise or is all the data just junk?
