| iknow - 10/4/2025 10:31 For a time now, telehealth has been used...alot in rural Areas....and both drs and patients liked it, since it saved time and travel...but it was not extended in the budget bill. The reason giving was that "the cost of the service" but the truth is, the cost to medicare was the SAME as an in person office call. (Don't believe me...do your research look it up on medicare) This hurts rural people....for example my mom's cancer dr is 225 miles away, and her endocrinologist is 130 miles away. Traveling is difficult...telemed was great.... But no.... Same with rural hospitals...in KS, the hospital association has Said we could loose 67 rural hospitals...the highest percentage in the nation... Washington doesn't care about bit about us in rural america...both parties
Nice copy/paste of DNC talking points. This exact same thing was posted in my local town's facebook page, and just like you posted like they were the one's affected |
