If it's like my macdon that has a pot. On the head itself for height sense then it's out of range and won't cal. Need to adjust the pot. So it's in range.
Almost every year I have to adjust the height pots on my 98d cornhead to get then in range enough to calibrate. Nothing to do with your combine is my opinion...
