Pretty sure that bearing sits on a fixed post bolted to the frame. So the carriage bolt is securing the post and inner race of bearing fits over post. Naturally the inner race rusts into place so it does not slide off very nice. I could be thinking of the rollers for the side drapers, but what you are seeing with center draper is probably same.
Any older honeybee gurus?
