Subject: Anyone still flying DJI Phantoms?

Chebanse, IL.....

I like my Phantom 4 pro. However, I dislike the battery self-discharge to 60% even when sitting in the charge cradle. When I want to quickly video or still photo with the Phantom, I have to deal with 3x 60% batteries. Meaning that usable flight time is reduced. I understand the reason for the discharge to 60% for extending battery life.

Is there any way to keep one battery at 100% though? I do have a discharger that someone built/sold once (no longer) that has a halogen bulb you hook the DJI battery to and it rapidly discharges the battery to "almost" zero. Then you can recharge to 100%, but of course, after a few days it will go back to 60%. However, this doesn't answer the problem of grabbing a 100% charged battery & being in the air within a few minutes.
