That's true. Especially later 60 series. (Bullet rotor, air scoop, and 9.0L are the later ones)

The 9.0L is a good engine in those late 60 series IF they have been repaired properly. They had liner protrusion/headgasket issues.

If you can find one that has been repaired properly, delete the thing, and roll on. The EGR coolers can crack and cause a hefty repair bill, that's why I'd for sure delete it. Not to mention it was never good for any engine to regurgitate it's exhaust.
