| This adjustment is really simple. LOOSEN the u-bolt nuts (not remove), PULL the outer part of the cable FORWARD as far as it will go, which moves the u-bolt forward, and retighten the nuts on the u-bolt. At this time there should be zero freeplay in the clutch pedal with the engine off. Make sure the bushings on that fork are in good condition as they sometimes are broken throwing off the adjustment. Also check the ball socket on the end of the cable for wear. Anything loose or worn makes this adjustment more difficult. | |
