NEMO | I've got a 94 with a 430 N14, it is full mechanical, so at least the early ones were. That said, I wouldn't be afraid of any N14, even with an ECM the wires and electronics are minimal and reliable. The 855 really needed to be stopped at about 400HP, otherwise bad things started to happen. I'd be more concerned about finding a N14 that you could find a good work history on.
