1988 through 1990ish big cam 4 stay away from.
1991 Mechanical N14 with STC timing control, great engine but STC system can be problematic at times.
1991 through 1995 N14 with Celect Ecm - great engine, ECMs can be problematic but most can be repaired.
1996 through 2002 N14 with Celect Plus Ecm - great engine, again the ECM can cause issues but most can be repaired
