| IF you get the right guy, there will only be a handful of trucks in North America that would out run or out pull that 855.
They are like the old 350 chevies. A lot of parts that are cheap to make power.
Of course that cuts the life span and takes fuel but it sure is fun.
Back in the day, a Cummins engineer set me up with a manifold and turbo.
Someone in the oil fields had done the fuel and cam.
The only thing limiting is the amount of fuel going in and the amount of heat to get rid of.
The truck actually was pretty decent on fuel for the time, if driven carefully.. 6.8 MPG pulling bull rack, feeders one way and hogs the other. Temperature was sub 0 with wind. That was 55 mph and driven carefully.
Hammer down and it was under 1.
