OK, thank you for the advice. No I’m actually in the very north east corner of Colorado. I think most of the trucks im seeing are in the late 90s so I’m sure they’re more the electronic N14s. With my 855 obviously there’s people always lined up behind me. Would be nice to have a little more modern horsepower to keep up with traffic. Everything I’m seeing is a black top.
That 855 could be made more awake , i used to have the stuff to wake one up .
when i moved i threw my manual and shims in the roll off box . been years since i used any of that stuff .
Probally an older mechanic around that could give it a little
HP.
there was a 475 ntc 855 , i had books on it . but after years of not using them , they too went in roll off box .
Last one i worked on , a friend had one in his shop , wanted me to run overhead . thats been 15-20 years . |
Educate me on N14 Cummins engines.
