North Central OH | More of a rant than anything, spend the better part of a day or trying to complete the install of a precision yield sense system. This particular machine uses two modules that are liked together to make up for the lack of a factory can network on the combine. Problem was only the primary would come online even though the second was getting power, switched both around multiple times trying to see if one was bad out of the box, dealer even brought out a new one. After wasting most of a day switching things around and getting nowhere after all I had ohmed the harness out last night no wires were broken. The though came to me to check the pin out of the jumper harness, turned out the can wires were crossed from the factory. Switched two wires on the 1' harness and all was good, dealer tech said he would give them hell on the ticket.
After all that finally got to the field and single point hydraulic coupler gave out and normal dealer had sold all of theirs that morning, next closest dealer had a set, so hopefully tomorrow goes better. | |
