Subject: RE: Adding rpm sensor to spreaders on fertilizer spreader

East Central Arkansas
I used a Calc A Acre brand. I think I bought it from Shoup. I forget the model but it's the monitor that has a rpm position. Gives you acres, mph, speed, hours, distance and the rpm. I mounted two magnets under one of the spinners. Was always concerned about those sensors and fertilizer damaging them but would wash good and spray with WD 40 or Fluid Film after use. I never had problems. I don't remember what all that kit came with but you might need extra sensors and cabling for all I did with it. Had it fixed for when I engaged the fertilizer spread it started counting ac si only recorded acres spread.
