NESD | Regularly do livestock and commodities. Interested in how it works out for capital gains. Not a tax expert by any means but with capital gains taxed on there own instead of ordinary income will it benefit you that much. I have tried to "schedule" more capital gains on years that I may have a capital loss to offset it, I know you can carry those forward for I believe three years. Haven't paid enough attention are they lowering the rate or if not I don't believe you will save tax dollars just which year you pay them in. | |
