Yes and no. There is more focus to push sexed semen on high producing cows and everything else bred to angus. Breed for enough heifers out desirable genetics and the rest for a high dollar calf that will be sold as CAB…


Seems like it’s often you hear about another 5-10,000 cow dairy coming online. While I’m not sure what riverviews breeding program is… they just received the next approval for moving forward on 37,000 cows split between two farms in North Dakota. A few more years and the dairy industry very well may replace the lack of beef supply
