I have posted before that we are seeing new beef herds pop up in my area. We can graze about a pair per acre and non- horse quality hay is normally cheap (80-120/ton). A hundred acres probably cost 25-30k to fence, their will people giving it a go if they think it means getting their foot in the door of farming.
