As the grain farmers got bigger, main street dried up.....
When the hogs left, main street dried up.
When tobacco left, main street dried up.
Maybe one man running 5,000 acres isn't so good for main street.....
Maybe that's why youth move away to find jobs,
Maybe that's why we don't have enough young families to keep the churches open.
Maybe that's why we struggle to keep the schools viable.
Bet they'll never acknowledge that.
This saving the family farm thing is really working....
