In the future, I'd recommend just using Windows Defender and not any additional antivirus, except MalwareBytes Free. Although, I would add the browser extensions uBlock Origin, and Ghostery. They remove ads, tracking, and keep you safe if you go somewhere you shouldn't. You could still get a virus of course, but being sensible while using the internet helps alot. I'd never click on an ad. :D
You get it, some people have drank the Kool Aid and will never think anything else is able to do the job, especially if it costs nothing. |
