western iowa,by Denison | we stop-we have timed it and on a average day we stop 8 seconds to change the wagon,average is around 8 minutes a load on earlage and 3.1/2 minutes on corn silage
on corn silage we tried, and it was 2 seconds on spot flip that we measured-came out to 120# of earlage,and 240# of corn silage spilled in 2 seconds
usually, we can chop 100 loads a day of earlage and around 200 loads day of corn silage-I guess for a savings of 26 minutes a day there is a trade off
this was earlage-both choppers made it to the end
