Thats repairable a couple ways.

1) Drill new holes at 90deg to original and reinstall handle
    This making feed slide on a different surface and potentially extend life
2) If you have a parts donor, cut a piece of the donor and use a dehorning iron to weld the new patch on.  You can even double it up to increase interval between repairs.

Option B:
Cattle are high, use your profits and buy a new one.
