nw NC | May 25 ???? Corn must grow slower there , or faster here!!!
Picture below is my 92 day corn planted June 26. It has some Northern leaf blight but is staying quite green yet. Kernels are at half milk line and moisture of whole plant is right for harvest and storage in upright stave silo. Just need some drying weather now. Had 4 inches rain in two days last Friday and Saturday. Raining a little right now. Tropical storm off the southeast US coast but it is now forecast-ed to stay out to sea.
