| Feeding barley balage, dry hay and straw. It an older 4 bale model on 4x4 truck. It has the kit on it so that we can stack 3x4 bales and get 8 on there.
Yeah I bought it so that we can turn feeding into a one man show. Used to run a vertical mixer but went back to flaking to save time and fuel. Typically don’t feed any concentrates. Going to be feeding around 700 head this winter and didn’t want to flake for that many as it’s a two man job and would like to have days off for the helper and I both. | |
