Fairbury, NE (Southeast) | we use 3/4 inch x 1/8 thick flat stock make a 15 degree bend in them on the bench and weld on the bottom. 4 or 5 of them on the post. Drive the post to proper depth, couple wacks with the hammer and the wire stays in 99 percent of the time. I;ve seen people cut light chain lengths in half and weld to the post as well. Couple wacks and the top side is tight on the post. | |
