Ft. Ripley MN | There is no argument… there should be zero farm programs and zero crop insurance subsidies. We as a society have gone to an entitlement society where we expect handouts.
How different would your operation look if you took the government money out??
Imagine only farming what you could afford to lose??
Would be a little more opportunity for more people to farm… commodities would be worth something.. acres that shouldn’t have been worked under would still be in grass like they should be. wouldn’t be wall to wall corn and beans. Maybe the diseases we see everywhere anymore wouldn’t require 15 sprayer passes…
Ya ya I know I’m wrong, my neighbor is taking it so I better to. Whatever helps you sleep at night I guess.
If I have to struggle I will but I don’t want the governments money…
