What hurt the dairy farms in WI is hurting the farms today. Supply/Demand. Oversupply. There is less than 5000 dairies in WI and still over produce. Yet a new CAFO is possibly going up in some county. Forget. How do they make money? Government?

Governemnt has paid for oversupply for years and still does today.

How to resolve a problem which started 70 years ago and so many reliant?

It is not 1 political party, both.

If the government is going to hand out money, maybe CRP is not the worst of worst ideas. Save the land. Reduce production.

You pay for over supply so you never have under supply. You pay for over supply so at a time of war you have your own home grown food. People forget these two very important points because they don't understand the war time and political power of food
