Central ND | YOU DONT......If you raised a cat with a car its going to take and make itself at home with that car because that is what it knows.
>>We had gotten several kittens from some folks that raised them in the car garage...That's where they though they belonged. WITH the cars.. THE SUCKERS crawled into every nook and cranny of OUR cars...You wanted them to leave and the disappeared up in the car somewhere. TWICE I had to go to my wife's work place hospital parking lot and bring home one of those cats that rode 20 miles to work with her under the car undercarriage or on the engine or somewhere.... Hopped off in the parking lot and started meowing at her......Once one of those kittens rode to the field with me, and I saw it jump off the tire of my Timpte hopper trailer while harvesting out in a rented field miles away from the farm, WHAT A PITA trying to get farm cats to be farm cats when they basically commit suicide and HOBO transportation lifestyle living under you vehicles engine compartment and undercarriages. Our cars are all outside... Cat dung anywhere around the cars and PAW TRACKS all over everything, windshield and hood and roof.... ........Made me think about oil and matches....
They eventually were all gone all by themselves. Probably hitchhiked to town to a cathouse or the kittybar, who knows. I don't miss them.
