tennessee | What about when ur driving 40 yr old tractors and combines and still losing money? I promise you I dont live an extravagant lifestyle. If I had to live totally from farm income I'd be bankrupt a long time ago. Granted I'm a small farmer, 450 ac, but that was at one time enough to live on. Farming is big business now to make a good living and that sucks! I dont want my 2 grandsons to ever start farming. So many easier ways to make a living and I absolutely hate saying that but its true. I hope my little operation dies with me...too stressful and not enough return to make it worthwhile. | |
