| Have a discussion in the morning about what’s going on, but then let them sort it out along the way unless it’s super important to change instructions. Resist the urge to change how he is doing something unless it’s a very significant advantage. Believe that he knows what he’s doing until he proves otherwise. Nothing more annoying than having someone explain something to you like you are not capable. If there are things like welding or basic mechanics that he is not skilled in, consider sending him on a short course in the heart of the winter. | |
