Plus maybe add a price incentive per bu either thru crop ins or fsa on bu equal basis. Example you put 10 acres in crp then on 2000 bu corn ( 200 bu x 10 acres) you’d be guaranteed $5/ bu. The 200 bu would be based on aph or county yield. Crp and crop acres would have to be in same county. ???? Beans,wheat etc could be substituted at different price level. 3-5-7-10 program. Put half farm in program and get decent bushel price on other half. 1000-1500 acre max. ???? I know I know every cousin,girlfriend,second girlfriend would now be farming someone’s acre. If gf didn’t own land then a 40/60, 50/50 rent share would have to exist. Keep in mind gf crop ins yield would probably be lower. Sure there would be other ways to control some of the getting over 1000 acre limit.
