| I think there's better options of set-aside than CRP. The bulk of the land where i live that was in CRP pre-2007/12 was very productive ground. Some of the best productive ground. As others have said, CRP decimated rural communities in the plains. I would even argue CRP did more damage than the two popular whipping posts, crop insurance and ethanol. In fact, I'd say if it wasn't for crop insurance and ethanol, we'd still be a CRP wasteland here | |
