| Renewable diesel? We already know that doesn’t work economically.
The first thing you do is shut down livestock on all federal lands. You will find that when you allow capitalism to work, the western 2/3 of the Great Plains reverts to livestock pasture and hay pretty quickly. Young people have a chance to do something for themselves.
Second, you better decide how much of rural America, you are willing to shut down. Actions will have consequences.
Third, would you rather accept a subsidy or take a job pushing a broom at the local junior high until it closes?
Some farmers may be loosing money, but the consequences of the ripple effect are worse, by a long ways. | |
