I agree on the hot fence. This is a neighbors relatively new fence and has a top smooth wire on insulators. I'll have to talk with him to figure a way to energize it. About the Angus bull, my cows are all long time bred so I shouldn't have any BWF calves next spring. As you may recall I did experiment with BWF and in my system I will stick with pure Herefords. I am still selling beef to restaurants and some to individuals but have sold a few bulls and would like to sell more breeding stock to folks getting started with cattle. |
