A friend asked what hours i was expected to respond to a call .I said all of them .
He said yall dont have diffrent times for people to go ?
I said no not enough of us , we respond to a call 25/7/365 .
He said he was curious because i was pretty tired one day when we had been out the night before .
I guess most people did not know we did that .
Wife was eating lunch with the other teachers , said my husband got back early this morning and i waited up for him . Other teachers i guess thought voulenteers only went during the day . Wife said its almost always at night when he goes .
Ours here have it easier.
They are on call only 24 hours a day.
It must be a daylight savings time deal in Texas, that extra hour. |
i wonder if all VFD is like ours ?
