I don't have kids so take it for what it's worth. From I have seen with nieces and nephews, you would be far better off to throw the tablet in the trash and engage them one on one and teach them yourself in person. I can be a bit harsh as an uncle at times, but when any of them have a serious question, they tend to come to me as they know I will stop whatever I am doing and give them my full attention and do my best to explain things in ways that they can understand without judgement.
