1. where to feed them? If you are wanting the current owner of that heifer to keep them, they prob don't have the space for it/
2. where we going to find feed for them? There again current producer prob only drilled X acres of sudan or silage for their heard, not planning to keep an extra 50 plus heifers over winter.
3. Knowing my luck one of those heifers would die over winter before I could collect. Take to the sale barn now and get paid, or take the chance of it hoofs up and not getting paid. Thats a big risk they are asking producers to take. Death can happen any time.
