NE KS		Currently where we sit in the cattle market why would someone keep a heifer ?

I would 100% expand the herd now with calf prices where they are but the cost to hold and develop my heifers or buy a bred or pair is high risk.


Mabye we need to get used to dealing with more dollars.

10 yrs ago Calf dies well **** that could’ve been sold for $1000 now it could’ve been sold for $2500
