56676 | I have limited experience with driving wood posts, but you drive the smaller end down so they get tighter the deeper you go, and you're not disturbing the surrounding soil by digging a hole. Not to mention SO MUCH FASTER. You'll want someone outside the machine with a good eye to guide the operator to keep it straight. Oh, and they should wear ear protection.
Depending on the soil and the driver you choose, you might want to sharpen posts, and even then you might need to drive a pipe in first for a pilot hole. Since you're in low ground, that probably won't apply. | |
